We're enjoying the quiet life on the border! :) My Love enjoys (and so do I!) the short 2 minute drive to work! The closest "cityfied" town is about 30 minutes away. Also, the drive back to our families isn't really all that bad- right under 4 hours back to the edge of the Hill Country for my family. And the drive is quite calm and pretty, too.
I just realized that I haven't been visiting nigella.com lately and need to get back to it! :)
OH, and we're also enjoying our new DSL ;)

Graduation Approaching!
I can't believe it... ONE WEEK till Graduation!!!!

Can't Decide
I'm having a hard time being decisive when it comes to picking colors and templates for my blog... ughhh... what an update, huh?
Well the puppy isn't really much of a puppy anymore... he's 26" at the whithers and already 75 lbs. at just 7 months :). He came home from training at the end of May. We still have to work on his training just about everyday to make sure he remembers it. They say GSDs take about 2 years to fully mature... I can see that now ;).
My Love is over halfway done with his job training! :) Graduation is at the beginning of August... and then we move :).

Surviving the 4 Months
Well, I have this wonderful feeling that I will make it out alive through the four months of separation :). My Love seems to be doing good, too. I just wish he could get better sleep at night :(....
My giant puppy has gone to school- for 5 weeks of obedience training at a nearby kennel. Really nice place and it's only about 30 minutes away. They owners and trainers are really sweet people.
I just put together three care packages for My Love and shipped them off today. He's getting a zillion jelly beans- mainly pink ones, so he'll think of me :)- and some twizzlers and a Hello Kitty Pez ;).
I thought about shipping him some benadryl so he could sleep better at night! ;)

My Baby :)
Here's my baby :). Grown up, hasn't he?!, Britty of KT ;) ?! He's 4 months old and just got his rabies shot and weighed today- 28 lbs :). Seems SO much bigger. All the girls at the vet could say was "WOW- his PAWS are SO BIG!" :)Gorgeous Flowers Just for Me!
Just when I was about to start buying tulips, I saw these blooming out in our yard! Aren't they gorgeous?! The pink is my favorite- I love the shade... if you can't tell ;). They all smell DELIGHTFUL, too! :)

Happy Spring!
Is it even spring yet??? I bet it's still winter... what a bummer to still be called winter. The grass is green, there are baby calves everywhere! Feels like baby season to me :).

We're Moving
Christmas time is coming for us... and what does that mean? Time to move again! :)
My parents and brother purchased some acreage closer into town... and there's a garage apartment on the property. This will be an excellent location and situation for us. When My Love leaves for training for 5 months, I'll be closer to my family, without needing to move back in with them, and I'll also be closer to neighbors- right now, we're pretty much out in the (pasture) boonies :).
Looking forward to the move-- I enjoy moving ;)... while we dont' have kids yet ;).

O' Cal-i-forn-i-a
Well, I must admit it.... I was quite glad to be back in our home state after a 5-day trip to the Orange County area of California. The traffic wore me out... never an open highway and little town- seems like you've got to drive quite a ways out of Los Angeles for that.
One thing, though... the weather there is AWESOME, duuuuude!
We went out for My Love's brother's wedding. He's a lawyer in Orange---or is it Santa Ana? Can't remember- one of those two spots. We stayed at an inn in Santa Ana and ended up driving around quite a bit to different spots:
